Summary: So I've been looking for a good multi-chaptered fic for a long time, and I'm not entirely satisfied with what I see. So my challenge is this: write a multi-chaptered fic, preferably longer than 20 chapters, that tells a story about a girl falling in love with the one of the boys. Rules: 1) The summary MUST include proper grammar and spelling. (So does the actual story, but I will overlook the occasional typo.) If it does not, I WILL NOT READ IT. The summary cannot be only one paragraph. I'm a visual person, so if there are words clumped together, I most likely won't read it. Space out the sentences, and a banner would be appreciated. 2) Make sure the plot is unique. Although I do enjoy reading fics about the girl moving in with the boys, I think it’s overused. It doesn’t have to be extremely unique, but just do something that most people don’t. Meaning, don’t have the girl be one of their best friends and they fall in love, or the girl is unpopular at school while the boys are popular players. 3) I prefer stories rated T. It can be rated K if you don’t feel comfortable writing things like this. Make sure there is no graphic sexual content. I don’t mind a bit, but don’t get too into it. 4) I don’t like reading stories with one of the main characters dying. Don’t make one of the boys or girl die. I don’t mind if it’s a secondary character that one of the main characters are close to, because that may be how the story progresses, but don’t kill off One Direction. I’m too happy for something that depressing. 5) Speaking of how I’m a happy person, make sure the story has a happy ending. I crave that happiness. 6) I will try to review everyone who enters something into this challenge, but I will only do so when it’s complete. (Or if I think it’s exceptionally well written.) 7) Please have the chapters be a decent sized length. I know if you type it up on Microsoft Word, it seems longer, but isn’t really, so please have each chapter be around 1,000-2,000 words. (But you can definitely write more.) The prologue can be a little shorter. 8) No slash stories. I don't have anything against gay people, but it kinda creeps me out when it's One Direction. 9) Lastly, (I know there are a lot of rules, but please bear with me) I would appreciate it if it were completed by the end of 2012. That way I’m guaranteed something to read.  To give you a little extra motivation, stories submitted and completed by the end of the year will be eligible for reward! I will favorite three stories that I think are the best.
